Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Vaachas service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Vaachas is a cloud-based database gateway that lets you write to multiple databases in a single API call and read from the best-fit store at runtime. Our service includes:

• Coordinated DML fan-out with per‑database sequence control
• Runtime DQL routing to a chosen data source
• API key authentication and plan-based rate limits
• Encrypted storage and transmission of sensitive connection details

To use our service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or conduct security attacks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

Your data privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We encrypt credentials at rest and transmit data over TLS
• We design systems to minimize access to plaintext secrets; we do not view your secrets except where required by law or with your explicit direction
• You retain ownership of all data you store in our service
• We strive to comply with applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and will update our practices as laws evolve

We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available and secure. From time to time, the service may be unavailable due to planned maintenance, upgrades, or unplanned outages. We may provide status updates during incidents and post-maintenance notices where appropriate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Payment terms for our service:

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Price changes require 30 days advance notice
• Accounts may be suspended for non-payment after 15 days
• You can cancel your subscription at any time

The Vaachas service and all related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. This includes:

• Software, algorithms, and technical implementations
• Trademarks, logos, and brand elements
• Documentation, guides, and educational content
• APIs, SDKs, and integration tools

You retain ownership of your data and credentials stored in our service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaachas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or security breaches
• Third-party actions or integrations
• Force majeure events beyond our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• At any time with or without cause
• Immediately for material breach of these terms
• Upon insolvency or bankruptcy

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to your account email
• In-app notifications
• Updates to this page with revision date

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to any mandatory arbitration requirements under applicable law, the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Indiashall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vaachas and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

Your access to the Service is subject to plan-based rate limits and fair use. For the Free plan, the default limits are 60 requests per minute, 120 requests per minute burst, and a 50,000 requests per day cap. We may update these limits with reasonable notice. You agree not to attempt to circumvent or disable rate limiting.

• Do not create multiple accounts to bypass limits.
• Do not share API keys outside your organization or post them publicly.
• Do not automate abusive traffic patterns or generate artificial load.

You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you are not on any restricted party list. You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws in connection with your use of the Service.

Unauthorized penetration testing or attempts to disrupt the Service are prohibited. If you wish to report a vulnerability, contact security@vaachas.com. Acting in good faith within a reasonable scope helps us address issues quickly; we do not pursue legal action against researchers who adhere to responsible disclosure and avoid accessing or exfiltrating other users’ data.
